Hi there.
Wills room is now officially a playroom 🙂
God is so good and sweet and quick to lavish His love on us… He leads us, like a shepherd leads His flock, patiently, asking for humility, mercy toward others and obedience in return.
The BEST feeling, to have seen God’s hand, and to have finally met Him as faithful, concerned, full of love, abounding in goodness. And to keep finding Him that way, day after day after day.
My emailed verse of the day today… Jeremiah 33:14-16
“‘The days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness”
That day has come. Jesus came, lived, died and came back to life to take away my sin and to ensure I live in safety for eternity. My uneducated two cents… physical safety is of some value, but to give eternal and internal safety is why He came. And I live in peace here, though not always “safe”, I am safe in the arms of the One who made me.
October is approaching… here’s my plan for celebrating, remembering, hoping, moving forward:
- Listen to me and Wills’ song on repeat, “Closer” by Bethel Church
- Order Campbell’s cookies in the shape of pumpkins and firetrucks
- Spend lots of time with Fenley Grace
- Attempt a little getaway with Walt
- Drown in God’s Word
- Bake for fun, not just for orders
- At LEAST 2 meetings with Jeff Redding
- Eat lots of cupcakes in honor of Wills
- Pray
- Love BIG
Here are some fun pictures of Wills’ old room turned playroom. I did this on SUCH a budget. The mattress on the twin sized bed is from Amazon and actually inflated itself. It was wild. But it’s actually comfortable! Feel like I should be on “Design on a Dime” or something. Walt painted the room. Only took a month for him to finish the paint job 🙂 I love him. Enjoy…
